Custom Spellwork
Spellwork is an ancient art with many traditions and iterations across cultures and eras, and was common practice in the day-to-day lives of our ancestors. The word “spell” comes from the Proto-Germanic “spellan”, meaning “to tell”, which in turn gave rise to the Old English “spellian” and “spell”. It is embedded in our modern traditions as everything from simple prayers before bed, the candles on our birthday cakes (Make a wish), the embracing of mantras (Think positive or Think it and be it), and more.
Spellwork acknowledges that we are all interconnected and that our thoughts and intentions have power. It can be described as the focused speaking or spelling out of intentions and desired outcomes, often using support tools like candles, oils or sacred objects and tools, that serve to focus the appropriate energies and intention. Rae often uses candles in her work.

Rae conducts candle vigils and is trained in positive, healing, and protection spellwork, as well as ceromancy (candle wax reading). She is pleased to build and conduct a spell for you and your personal situation, in alignment with the most auspicious timing, to support your positive and healing intentions for yourself or others.
A candle vigil or custom candle spell service with Rae begins at $100 + GST, including all materials used. This service includes emailed images of the vigil or spell and a candle report with wax reading and other insights. Prices run in accordance with the costs of materials needed, including quality beeswax taper candles. Beeswax figural candles may require special pricing to cover the materials used, depending on the size and availability of the figural candle type.
Rae does not perform negative spellwork under any circumstances and reserves the right to refuse any request.
Rae mindfully uses materials that are not harmful to the environment, including high-quality beeswax (or soy candles on request, subject to availability) and no plastics or harmful dyes.
